My Adventure

Website and Branding

The Goal

My Adventure is a social enterprise which delivers high quality adventurous activities, outdoor learning, personal and social development and other outdoor qualification and courses for all age groups.

Our goal was to create a full new brand for this growing business and represent their ethos into the designs. Over a number of months Odd Panda have been involved in designing and developing a website, logo, leaflet, posters, t-shirt and banners.

It was our aim to convey their message of inspiration and social enterprise awareness into their branding, to create eye catching and adventurous designs.

The Challenge

In the initial design phase of the My Adventure brand we recognised 3 main challenges:

•    Creating a design which could incorporate the My Adventure branding, whilst being able to present images and a context of the activities available.
•    Designing a logo which represented the adventurous outdoor activities offered as well as embracing and integrated the logo style into the rest of the website and branding.
•    Combing elements of the activities into the designs, for example using sharp eye catching edges and lines to represent the adrenaline involved in these activities.

The Brand Evolution

The branding of the logo was the best place to begin with this project because its inspiration would be represented throughout their site and advertising material. We based our designs around the outdoor adventurous activities offered by My Adventure, to help clients create a vision of professionalism and adrenaline which the brand represented.

The finalised logo has cleverly combined the My Adventure initials with a mountainous landscape which can be interpreted to portray a number of the high quality challenging activities offered.

The Design Journey

The activities and opportunities offered by MY Adventure allowed us to experiment with varying shapes and imagery, inhibiting our creative imagination to produce a logo which incorporated the brands initials with their love of the outdoors. The lettering and colour scheme cleverly helped to exaggerate the mountainous landscape and togetherness which My Adventure are so passionate about.
